This page presents my studio projects from both Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, and College of Architecture, Planning, and Design at Kansas State University.
The information centre promotes environmentally friendly construction and environmental awareness in general. It was designed with principles of sustainable development in mind and planned to reach the standard of the passive building.
The task was to find a new use for the ground floor and basement floor of a an apartment building from the beginning of the 20th century standing near the Old Town Square in Prague. I chose to convert the space into a café combined with a gallery and a small bookstore.
As a member of a Design-Build studio, I participated in reconstruction and remodeling of the Pierce Atrium and the lower level of Seaton Hall, the architecture building of the Kansas State University.
The task was to design a city plaza and the surrounding area including a design of a new city hall for Radotín, a southern district of Prague. The objective was create a concrete solution for a certain part of the city. The project involved urban planning and building design.
Task: Design second phase of the Cemetery in Ďáblice together with a ceremonial hall. Currently, a half of the site is already used as a cemetery. It was designed in Italian style, as a park.
Task: Design a shelter on a hiking trail in the valley of the river Ohře near the town of Loket. Shelter must provide protection seating and protection from harsh weather. Use natural materials, design with respect to the environment. more...
